Hey You,
I'm at ACCESS 1 training. You really taught me well. There are a couple of things I didn't know! I forgot to ask you if you wanted to go on a bikeride with Ingrid/Steve and I on Sunday morn?

Slipping your first stitch always helps when you're going to end up seaming. I learned that one the hard way with Siana's baby sweater. But there are also lots of beautiful patterns out there which are knit in the round. Gauge becomes even more important then, though.

CDS looks great. Beautiful color. Sew in a tag and be proud.

Thanks, everyone. Glad you like it.
I have to confess though, the side seams suck.
I learned two important lessons while doing this.

First was that when you're doing a decrease/increase on a sleeve that's going to get seamed, do the increase/decrease *before* you get to the end of the row. I did it *at* the ends of the rows, and the result was a ragged edge that was a pain in the tochas to sew up.

Second was that I really need to work on my invisible seams. I think I need to do a couple of swatches or simple tank tops or something and just practice doing them.

Very nice, great color. I hope you get a picture of it on the recipient (although, to force the kid to model it at this time of year is cruel).

It's gorgeous! I love the color. And that pattern is adorable..I'm thinking of doing it in some handspun when I get enough spun up..for my pseudo-niece (I'm not really related but might as well be...if that makes any sense..hehe).

Good work!
