Back Home
I’m back.
I’m fucking exhausted.
I have had a wonderful vacation, though not an easy one. I saw many beautiful things and met many beautiful people. I was reminded of my potential, and reminded that I am eventually going to have to acheive it.
I made someone laugh, and I made someone cry. I gave a stranger a hand. A mystic let me pet his dog, and welcomed me into his home. I ate like a king. I cried in the bathroom.
In a much more practical vein, I acquired the materials for the Sooper Sekrit Projekt. I can’t tell you what it is, but I’ll try to post regular updates. I got some friggin’ lovely Alpaca wool and some beautiful silver buttons at the Dixon fair for it. I began swatching it this evening. I think it’s about right, it’s definitely within a needle size or two of the guage I need.
I’m going to go pass out now. You shall know more hereafter.

Sounds epic, as too few moments are in life.

Sorry I missed you — there were just too many people wearing hats for me to spot you! I should have told you I’d be the Asian girl with the tall Caucasian husband in tow.
Looking forward to hearing (or reading rather) the tales of your California adventures. Sounds like you’ll have more interesting things to say than I did! (not that a runaway sheep story is not exciting!)

Sounds like a typical Roth family gathering…
Any pictures? (especially of the young lady?)

Keep us updated!! We’re all hovering like vultures.
Your experience sounds a bit like mine in Georgia, minus a few details..hehe.
Glad you are home safe!

That sounds more like an epic journey than a vacation. I think all further updates should be given in verse.
