A Little More Detail

I’m having some photographic difficulties. Something about the artificial light in my apartment really screws up the colors of the yarn I’m working with, particularly the Sooper Sekrit Projekt. It also gives me very blurred pictures if I don’t hold the camera perfectly still. But using the ambient artifical light gives a much better picture of the detail than the flash on my camera does.

I should probably take a photography class. Or read a book or something.

Anyway, here are a couple of shots of the candle flame thong/shawl and the Sooper Sekrit Projekt that give you a better sense of texture. The color on the SSP is completely off - it’s a vibrant blue, not a muted navy like it appears here.

They are both really gorgeous!! The shawl is so delicate and lace-like, i love it!!!

  2. Daphne Says:

Beautiful! Once that lace is blocked it will be so light and airy and pretty. And look a little less like panties. ;)

‘Panties’ is a funny word. Panties, panties, panties. Oh, what? Whoops. Sorry.

    Ahem.

The Sooper Sekrit Projekt is intriguing.

Michelle, I have a friend who *cannot* say panties without doing it in funny voices. Paaan-teez. It’s not you - there’s something about the word!

Everything looks great, David. How are you finding time for all of this?

  5. David Says:

Simple, Kaetchen. I’ve cut all the unnecessary activity out of my schedule -
    laundry
    cleaning
    car maintenance
    social life

Once you do away with all that cruft, there’s loads of time. :-)
    Panties panties panties panties.

I hadn’t said it in so long it seemed like a good venue..LOL. ;)
I always like to say it like they do in the Victoria’s Secret Semi-Annual sale commercial. Pahn-teez.

Cruft? Craft spliced with crud? Or crap and stuff…my linguistic self is curious now.
