The Best of Times, The Worst of Times

I cancelled my violin lessons this week. I’m knitting in most of my spare time and hence not practicing my violin. And my damn hormones are wreaking havoc on my brain. I think I’m PMSing or something. One day I’m fine; the next I am so depressed I want to walk in front of a bus.

I think I’ve got more than enough on my plate to keep me busy for the rest of the year. In January I’m going to seek out my teacher Jane Henry again and start back on the fiddling track. But for the next few months, I really need to simplify.

Now, on the much more positive end of the spectrum, Mark Pilgrim and his wife are having a baby. Mr. Pilgrim is an extremely talented web stud. He constantly works on ways to make the web work better, including things like site syndication, blogging, and website accessibility. He’s one of those people who is going to get the Information Age through puberty. Go read his stuff.

Calm yourself with some soothing knitting – not as flip as it sounds.Wish I could make life seem better right now.

I know you have a lot of good people that care about you that you can turn to for support. Make sure that you do that…and listen to some disco.
