I also liked the movie, but I do wish the filmmakers had placed more emphassis on the friendship between the doctor and commander, since that is one the unique aspects of the series. I also saw Master & Commander and really loved it. It is very differenet from anything else I have seen in a while. I really like the themes of leadership and friendship in this movie.
