Guess Who’s Coming To Blog

I finally got around to activating referer logs on my website. Now I can tell not only where people are coming from when they visit my site, but if they used a search engine I can tell what they were searching for.

I’m going to put in a script eventually that will display these searches automatically in a sidebar or something. But for now, let me tell you that the most interesting searches that have led people to my site in the last week include:

sweatergirl
staceyjoy
hotter than a snake’s ass in a wagon rut
should I work out while I’m sick
the sweater blog
manos del uruguay sweater
and, inexplicably:
funny diseases

No real knitting has gone on this week. Not much violin playing either. Not even a lot of video game playing. I’ve been doing a lot of reading and poking at some programming concepts. Hopefully I’ll be able to parlay some of that into upgrades for this site in the next couple of months. I want to add a library of patterns (or books that I found patterns in), a photo gallery of FOs, and I want to make some improvements to the cable grapher. (It got accessed 95 times last week – yee-ha!)

Anyway, a cup of coffee and a bike ride are waiting for me. Later.

    Anita & Barb,

The Aran is from Two Sticks and a String by Kerry Ferguson. I wouldn’t recommend most of the other patterns in that book, but the Aran and the Cardigan are pretty nice.

    Hi David
I also would love to know what pattern your aran and yarn is. I totally love it. I was at the Yarn Barn in S.A yesterday and purchased Bebbie Bliss merino aran. I was wondering if this is a good yarn for that type of sweater. The changes you are planning to make on your Blog sound really good. Have a good week.

Your aran looks awesome! What pattern did you use? Thanks
