Sweater Project

My hacking tonight is getting off to a *very* late start. I came home to find my apartment strangely silent. Normally there’s this slight whine in the background coming from the box that serves as my fileserver and development platform.

The box was not running when I came home. After a few tests I realized that the power supply had failed. I ran down to Comp USA to get a new one. It took them about twenty minutes to locate the one I needed, but they had it and it was pretty cheap.

I came home, swapped out the supplies, and lo! - there is a nice, comforting whine in the background again.

Now ’scuse me while I crank up iTunes and resume hacking. I need to mock up a couple of tools and then I’m ready to finish the overhaul of the cable grapher.

Okay, I can write out the little images that make up graphs as encoded strings now. I’m very happy, and going to bed.
