A day of knitting

Last night after work, I went to a downtown coffee shop and had a light dinner and some coffee, then worked on the Aran for a while. A friend called up and asked how much more work I had to do on it. I did some quick calculations to try and figure out a good estimate.

The way I figured it last night, I’ve got about twenty-four hours worth of knitting left in it. That’s all! With enought caffeine, I could have it done by Monday! (Yeah, fat chance of that.) But seriously, that makes the end of this project seem a little more attainable. Just gotta keep cranking.

Once I’m done with it, I think I’m going to do some kufi-based experiments for a little while before I start the next big thing. I recently buzzed my hair down to about a centimeter long, so I’m going to need some good lightweight head covering to keep from getting sunburned.

I am actually excited that you are so close to the end of the aran. You’ll be able to wear it to Ireland!! (or in your apartment with the AC cranked)

I am sure the new do with the goatee makes you look dangerous. Chics dig dangerous looking guys.
