Sweater Project

Yesterday I attended my second violin recital. Unfortunately, this time I didn’t take a camera with me, which is really too bad because we got to do in the sanctuary of the church this time. It was a lovely space with really great acoustics. Once again, I screwed up my first piece. I don’t play with accompaniment very well. But my second piece went smoothly.

It helped that this time there were three other adults who were participating. One man who was obviously a professional came to accompany his daughter, and there were two women my age who were both doing their first recitals. They both came up to me and said “I’m so glad to see another adult here!” Boy, can I relate.

After the recital I chowed down on some Taco Cabana over at Kelly and Thomas’ place. While I was there I brought up the blog on Kelly’s laptop. She almost spit out her drink when she saw the picture in the last post. She suggested a better caption would be “Drama Queen” instead of “Back on the ride.”

I think she may have a point there. Forgive me if I’m taking myself too seriously from time to time.
