Nigh Intractable
I still don’t quite understand non-rectangular graphs. I’m realizing some new things about them as I think about them more. But I don’t have a firm enough grasp of how they are made to add anything to the graphing program yet.
In the meantime, I made a token alteration to the program: I put the line numbers on alternating sides of the charts for easier reading.
Thanks to Urban GypZ for contributions of several graphs. Looking at those patterns helps.

most non-rectangular graphs are balanced - not sure if it will help or not - but perhaps mirroring around a center might help?
