Foundation of a satchel
Here’s the project that has driven me to such distraction that I started knitting the alien thingy:

Absolutely captivating, oui? I’m going to make it about twice as long as it is right now and then it will form the bottom, sides and strap of the monk’s travel satchel. Seed stitch ’till the cows come home, baby. And I don’t hear no hooves a-knocking on my door this weekend.
But I did have a sighting of the ghost burros. ‘Tis an omen, to be sure.

This one’s on my “I’ll get to it eventually” future projects list. Glad you’re testing it out first. I’m curious to see how the Cotton Fleece holds its shape when weighed down with the usual bag-filling stuff. You know: pens, notepads, lip balm, teeny tiny chocolate covered shrunken heads of our enemies tucked into little bobbled condoms for their own protection…
How goes the alien chest-burster experimentation. Felted tubes and felted strips, dude. I can see it now.
