I kinda don’t think so. It would be very cool to have a meta-knitting bag, but the way this thing is constructed would make it odd. Needles would have to be encased in something else or they’d poke right through it. It is plenty capacious, though.
The picture was taken in a hurry as I was late for work, but I really wanted to get up some evidence that I didn’t just drink, dance, and murder stuffed animals last weekend.
The picture was taken with a flash in my apartment – I think the blue blanket effected the overall color. I’ll take another pic of the FO in sunlight.
Kaetchen, you got nothing to be jealous of, hon. Making that fscking strap was an exercise in patience. Seed stitch for 70″, baby.

Monks satchel is a great pattern – I have had it on my ‘to-knit’ list for ages. Looking forward to seeing it alltogether finished.

I like that, michelle! D, is this going to be your new knitting bag – replacing the army tote?

That’s why it’s a Monk’s Satchel; you meditate on patience while knitting.

That is one hell of a lot of work on size four needles. Did you shoot this pic under a blue lamp, or what?
(Read: I’m jealous – it looks great)

Hey–just the seaming left? Those colors look WAY off on my monitor. It’s black, green, and red, right?
