That shrine is fantabulously awesome, BTW.

About parents and children: it&#039;s hard to be either, I think. I&#039;m blessed, though, that I was able to make peace with my parents before they died. . .but it was a long road to get there. And I&#039;m not the perfect parent by any means, but my kids are teaching me (still in process, of course) how to encourage their independence instead of trying to impose my view of the world onto them.</description>
