Cardiovascular system – check

Ah, I feel good. I joined a couple of guys from work and we went on a nice leisurely 10-mile bike ride. As much as I complain about the lack of real winter in Texas, I really enjoyed today. It was about 68°, sunny, and hardly any wind. Just beautiful. I rode in a short-sleeved shirt and shorts.

Made nice progress on the new sweater this morning and FINALLY delivered the bunny-butt hat to its owner, who was just thrilled. For some reason I just dreaded finishing off the carrots. I have this pathological aversion to i-chord. Go figure.

Call me weird. But I like making I-cord! :) I don’t slide it though, that would be, well, weird. I just transfer the 3 or 4 stitches back to the left needle and knit again! I know, I’m weird…my students tell me that all the time. That … and crazy!

I too hate i-cording. All that sliding three stitches back and forth.

    Oooh, good idea!

One time I worked around it by just casting on the length I needed and then just casting off. It made a nice cord.
