It Lives

In just under an hour last night, I gutted Monster, removed the old board, installed the new one, and put her back together. There were some very interesting UNIX-style messages scrolling down the screen when I turned it on, but after a little poking, all was good.

HUGE sigh of relief

So, now that I’ve got my preferred blogging platform back, I can start posting pictures of my house-sitting adventure and the knitting that I got done in the meantime.

Oh, and Cari, don’t worry - I ended up not needing the chicken.

    Glad you have your computer back. I just find it interesting that you call it, “Monster” and “her!” :)

    Well that’s a relief! I was very concerned about the chicken.

    Somehow I forgot you already have the fancy G5. Why on earth are you already having problems with your fancypants G5? That makes me sad. Sniff. Sniff.
