I got an icon
Not exactly sure why I suddenly felt the impulse to do this, but I finally got around to making myself a site icon. If your browser supports it, you’ll now see a cute little saxon braid icon the left of the address in your address bar. Cute, huh?
I’ve been donating a little of my time and server space to a local company. If you’re a woman in the San Antonio area and you are looking for a gym, may I suggest The POWER Room for Women? I haven’t seen the digs yet, but it sounds like a cool place, and they open at 5 am during the week. Tell them the geek sent you.

Oh, cool! That is a very good icon, you can tell what it is at that miniature size. Great job.
So tell me the secret… how do you make a site icon anyway? I remember once when I was surfing for a solution to a client problem I accidentally found information about the subject… but I was being paid to do something else. Would love a URL to read more, or mini-instructions (I’m a decent geek myself) if you wouldn’t mind.
Again, super job. It’s really hard to do anything that small that looks like what it was supposed to look like!!!

I think that your sweater came out incredibly! Really beautiful. I hope to one day get to the point of being able to work with Aran style. It is nice to see that I am not the only guy in this world who is into knitting.
I enjoyed reading all of the blogs and found you to be a very interesting person with an appealing writing style.
I’d like to know more about how you got into knitting. I am interested in your progression. I feel like I have been doing scarves forever. I want to move forward (I can knit and purl), but am unsure in what direction would be best for me next. I want a little more challenge, but I don’t want to tackle anything too advanced either.
Hope to hear from you. Take care.
