I can’t wait to forget this
I just woke up from some really freakishly unpleasant dreams. They were very confusing and I could barely follow what was going on. Something about travelling in postwar France, modern day California, and a demon cat with an even more evil boyfriend.
Luckily, the details of my dreams usually recede pretty quickly, so by lunch I should be looking back at this post with no idea what I’m writing about.

You’re still dreaming.
Wake up, Neo.
Follow the white rabbit.

You are pretty lucky that the details will recede. I have vivid dreams that stay with me.
Yesterday morning I woke up from a dream in which I was standing in a long line in the women’s restroom at a movie theater. I kept missing my turn to use a stall because the woman behind me wanted my opinion on the historically acceptable footwear of WWII era women. As I answered her, someone standing behind me in line would take the stall that emptied before I could get to it! Of course, once I woke up it was clear what had been influencing it…I must need new shoes.

Lucky bastard. Most nights I have multiple, extremely vivid dreams. Takes a few hours before I can shake them off. EVERY DAY.
Blech.

Dogs have owners.
Cats have staff.
Being staff to a REAL cat is the nightmare.
