Some chaff, some wheat

I went for a much-needed bike ride after work today. I replaced the tube on my road bike and went for a gentle 12-mile jaunt. Ten miles into it, my rear tire flatted again! Can you freaking believe it?

And it was devilishly hard to repair. I had to re-patch the damn thing four times before it finally took, and then just barely. I was very, very irritated when I got home, which defeated the entire point of the bike ride.

But then I collected my thoughts and sat down to fix two of the problems with thegodofhellfire.com. One was the comments, the other was formatting. (If you looked at it before, you’d notice that the entries were all in one big blocky paragraph, which was no fault of the author.)

And scarcely 45 minutes later, it was done! I fixed both problems and bought myself some celebratory tacos for dinner.

Also, I should record this here so that I can read it later, my day was made earlier by some wonderful mutual flirtation. I’d been losing my faith in the possibiity of companionship for a while now. This afternoon my faith was restored.

Big kisses and hugs - you know who you are.
