A bad week for pancreases
It’s been a bad week for pancreases.
A friend of my family has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Apparently he’s got a very positive outlook though. He witnessed and survived some of the worst horrors of the last century, and regards every day he’s had since then as “gravy”.
Also, my little girl Morgan started having a lot of gastric problems and lethargy this week. (Morgan is one of two Golden Retrievers whom I helped raise and who currently lives with Kelly.) I don’t remember the exact diagnosis, but she’s got something “hemorragic” having to do with pancreatitis. She spent the night in the hospital and Kelly said she’s feeling much friskier this morning. The docs all say she’s doing very well with the treatment.
Watch out for your pancreases, everyone. Something’s up.

I’m sorry you’re having such a tough week. Hang in there.

Heck, I’m not having a tough week. My week’s been pretty good. It’s just the organs peripheral to the alimentary canals of my loved ones that seem to be taking it this week.

Oh gosh. Pancreases. They can be such tempermental little jerks. Ugh.

I always say, my loved one’s pancreas is my pancreas.
Hang in there.
