Thwarted!
I just couldn’t keep at it. My hands started hurting too much at around 11:30 last night so I packed it in. The shawl as it now stands has about seven rows of garter stitch left. I may have begun the final border a little too soon, so it’s possible that I’m going to end up ripping it back and continuing for a bit, but I’m hopeful. We’ll see in a day or two.
