You just know it’s going to be a rough day when you see this on your commute:
Actually, I see dozens of these guys every morning. There’s a stretch of parkway with these really tall street lamps that are perfect perches for the buzzards, and they congregate there in the morning.

hey, i still vividly recall the day in college a vulture fell from the sky and landed unconscious in front of me. literally. no fooling. while i was wearing a necklace of an egyptian symbol that is associated with the egyptian vulture goddess nekhbet. no kidding. messed with my head for a long time. i think they are my totem animal or something.
