The comings and goings of socks
This picture is a bit dated by now, but here’s an early shot of the second sock in the black Duet.

I’ve already started turning the heel on it now. Yes, I know, I said last week that it would be done by Friday, but I got distracted. These things happen.
Some other . . . interesting activities took place last week. One of the kilt hose was singled out for special treatment.
First, it was made comfortable.

Then it was secured in place. We didn’t want any unexpected thrashing about now, did we?

Then the final piece of equipment was put in place.

What happened then?
tune in later . . .

OMG I know where you’re going with this (I think) and I’m giggling my head off.

Aren’t such graphic pictures of torture and dismemberment forbidden under the Geneva Convention?

I hope you are going to anesthetize it first? Or at least offer it a shot of hard liquor?

Have you visited the Crime Museum in Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Germany? It has many tools of torture and how, when and why they were used. (You can also see the only drinking fountain in all of Germany here! At least the only one I’ve found!) This set up would certainly qualify for inclusion, right next to the torture chamber and cells.

I hope I’m in the right place! Tell me your sister lives in Abq and works at Temple Albert? My daughter goes to school there and I work at the local yarn shop and ran into her there today and she told me about your blog!
