Order Up
Finished on Saturday at the Yarn Barn: one ultra-minimalist baby cap.
I’m thinking it needs a little crocheted flower on it.
I also got a couple of pretty nice pictures up at my mom’s place this weekend. I’m especially happy with the shot of the humming birds at the bar.
Oh, and I got the hotlinking thing worked out last night. Note to self: Apache does not consider %(HTTP_REFERER) and %{HTTP_REFERER} to be equivalent.

First of all: lazy hummingbirds, sitting down on the job! Second: is that sugar water? Shouldn’t there be some red food coloring involved?

Very cute hat. A little flower would be darling.

Awesome picture of the birds! I miss my hummingbirds.
One summer at my Dad’s in Oklahoma, we saw 10-15 birds at two feeders-one on two sides of the house. We also saw two males fighting over who was the dominant one! They were facinating!
Yep, the hat needs a flower or two! Nice job!
(Response to michelle: The red of the feeder attracts the hummingbirds. Several years ago I read or was told not to put red food coloring in the sugar water as it could hurt them.)

A flower would be very cute - of course it also looks nice the way it is too.. I would say crochet a flower and use a safety clip (like a little plastic clip - it is a hair clip that works wonders) to attach or detach - so it can go both ways!
