Sweater Project

Over the weekend, I shot a lot of pictures on the new D50. It’s awesome. It’s also very complex and is going to require a lot of practice on my part before I start really squeezing the good pics out of it. But I captured a cute little story over the weekend that I’d like to share.

It begins with timid little Laredo coming up and letting me get a picture of him. This is a rare treat, since he’s usually very shy around people.

His younger brother Burrito, on the other hand, is an attention hog and had no compunctions about getting some camera time.

After shooting several pics of the burros, I turned my camera’s attention to some horses who were grazing farther off in the field.

But the idyllic scene was not to last long. Burrito was not done basking in the limelight.
