Touched by the Noodly/Yarny Appendage
As per Michelle‘s request, here’s what the back of the Samus Aran looks like. You can see why I’m refering to to this as the Flying Spaghetti Monster while I’m working on it.
I think I’m going to take a break from it today and cast on for a nice simple hat or something. Maybe some hiking socks. I’ve been toying with the idea of making some socks out of something really chunky just so I could get a freaking pair DONE. Or maybe I’ll dig out the Lorna’s Laces that the lovely and talented AmpuT sent me and do a normal pair. Then again, perhaps I’ll completely flip out and go spend all my money on tubing and corks at Home Depot. (Well, not *all* my money. I’d need to have enough left over for a bucket, of course.)
Okay, enough lollygagging. Time to do something with my day.

So the project does look lovely and will be amazing when you’re done, but I gotta ask… why not do the cables in Fair Isle? It looks like the carrying distances are short enough.

Oh, but the front looks so much better. Cool.

You know what, as I’ve had time to consider the matter, I’m going to name a rock band Tubing and Corks. I will.
