I too will admit that most of my projects languish on my knitting table for tremendously extended periods with their ends dangling--and taunting me, too! (Usually until mere hours before I actually give away said AFO (Almost Finished Object).) Total craziness. Right now I have 7 pairs of socks knitted up and designated as Christmas gifts, none of which have the ends woven in. As much as this kills me to say, I just *know* in my heart that on Christmas Eve I will be weaving in those freakin' ends as I'm wrapping the damn things.

Yeah, I have to confess, I'm pretty lazy about weaving in ends. I've never told that to anyone! Gosh, these comments are good therapy for all that guilt! Thanks, ladies!
Even as I type I am wearing a multi-colored scarf, that had about 5 jillion loose ends, and still has 2. I let them hang. But as an artist I feel I have leeway for eccentric styles of dress. Soon everyone will want one.
That's the thing.
The hose look great.

Perhaps this isn't the best time to bring this up, but sometimes, especially with something as beautifully executed at your hose, a stray end is the only proof that they are in fact made by you. And on a related note: I have 15 year old sweater, prized and often admired, that still has about a dozen ends to be woven in. Intarsia fatigue I call it.

Nice hose! Previous photos showed how well they fit. Who cares how they look off? Have you started up on the sweater again?
