Jazzmine passed away peacefully today in the loving arms of her mom.

I was so touched by your entry about Jazzmine awhile back and am so sorry to find out she’s gone. I know Jazzmine will be missed more than words can say.
David, I am so sorry. I had the honor of meeting her a few times, as you know, and she was a lovely dog. I know there will be a Jazzmine-shaped hole in your lives for a while. Love to you and your family x
She was obviously loved and well-cared for when a lot of dogs out there don’t have that opportunity. A lucky dog indeed. If you need anything, just holler.
Jazzmine, our companion of 13 years, progressed sudenlly to atrial fibrillation, fever and heart failure in the space of 2 hours. She had been to the river earlier in the day, but the stairs were a significant challenge for her. When she began wheezing and gasping for air, we knew it was time. She went to sleep quickly and peacfully in my arms as Dan administered the medication. She loved us, trusted us, and suffered not at all. It was a ‘good death’ as such things go. Now she is in another place where my Dad is making her feel at home.
