Moving right a long with the Christmas knitting

This is sad. I’ve only got two holiday projects and I’m lagging horribly. I spent several mostly-uninterrupted hours over the weekend working on a seaman’s scarf which is coming out nicely, even if my photos are a tad bit under-exposed.

Here, I’m done with the first panel of the scarf and I’m ready to rip out the provisional cast on.

(Oh, this is being done on Filatura Lanarota Luxury Cashemere (yum yum) with Lantern Moon #9 needles. I luuuuuff these needles.)

And here’s the patient about halfway through the pickup process.

I’ll take some flash photos of all (and by “all” I mean “both”) of my projects when they’re done so you can get an idea of what the colors actually look like. I just went with the dark natural light of my living room for these to bring out the texture.

Okay, more coffee and I’m off to fix sick servers.

Tell me do you have the mad knitting lined up for Hogmanay and Burns night as well? Mine looks like it will last at least that long…sigh.

    Happy knitting,
