It’s a New Year – BRING IT ON!!!
For the first time in a long, long time, I can honestly say I feel like I’m hitting the ground running this year. Or rather, knitting.
First of all, the very late Fan & Feather socks are off the needles and ready for delivery. Yay, finished (albeit late) socks!
Secondly, I’ve got the yarn lined up for my next project. I snagged this gianormous hank of Mountain Colors from the Yarn Barn literally out of the box.
While their mommy is on holiday, the pups are staying with me. Bailey is convinced that the yarn should become a shawl for her, and took pains to demonstrate its fitness for that project.
Okay, not really. I bribed her with leftover turkey. But I think the colors really set off her, um, her fur. Yeah. That’s the ticket.
Happy New Year, everyone!

Happy New Year to you too! The socks look great. I am starting my third pair of “Christmas” socks today (hopefully)! Better late than never!

However it was achieved, that shot of Bailey is the cutest thing I’ve seen in a while! Adorable. (And the yarn ain’t half bad, either.) Happy New Year to you too!

Wow! That yarn looks incredible! I love the colors! It reminds me of Malabrigo yarn. What are you planning on making with it? Bailey is a cutie!

Bailey really does look gorgeous in that yarn. A dawg sweater, perhaps?
I too have resolved to knit more in the new year, and finish up all my stalled projects. We’ll see! Happy New Year!
