Good grief, this thing knits up fast.
Unfortunately my wit seems to be disengaged this morning. Normally by this time in the day, I’d be able to conjure up any number of sock or ho jokes, but I haven’t quite woken up yet. Anyone got coffee?

It looks like there is a a leather cord, with 2 groups of blue beads threaded on it, hanging off the needles. What is that for?
