Time!
I finished the Marshmallow Kilt Hose last night and wore them all day today.
These are without a doubt, the most uncomfortable socks I own.
They might be a little better when it gets really cold, but in the middle of Texas summer - not so much.
Pardon the washed-out shot. Need more work with the flash on my Samsung point-and-shoot.
Update
Now, with even more texture!

Hey now! What else is wrong with this picture?!? Where’s da kilt? These are *kilt* hose, yes?

The socks are gorgeous but…you wore them ALL DAY yesterday? Wasn’t it like a billion degrees outside?
LOL

Don’t you hate it when that happens? I made a tank top for myself once. The yarn felt wonderful in my hands and worked up like a dream and was the most uncomfortable top I ever wore. I was so annoyed and disappointed I gave it away the first chance I got.

So, did you stats go through the roof from the Harlot’s mentioning you yesterday?
And in addition to the fact that acrylic is not made for SA summers — what’s the entrelac cuff like to wear? As attractive as it is, I think it would be uncomfortable???

Janna - yup, VisiKnit got a *huge* number of hits yesterday. Gotta love it when the Harlot links to you. (Thanks Stephanie!!!)
The Entrelac cuffs are really quite comfortable. The fit of the hose is great. The cuffs poof out considerably, and I used an Icelandic bind-off for stretchiness - there’s really no problems.

Which leads to my next question — Icelandic bind-off??

I agree. These are kilt hose…so…where’s the kilt? (I should be more precise, we want the man in the kilt and the hose!)
