Okay, not as impressive as NaNoWriMo, but I did unofficially sign up for NaBloPoMo. This being the first of the month, I’m obligated to write a post. And this being a knitting blog (mostly), I’m obligated to tell you what I’ve got on the needles.
Let’s see . . . looks like Jack Shit.
Yes, I have *no* works in progress right now. Wait, no, that’s not quite true – I do have an Einstein Jacket in progress for a friend at work! I haven’t touched it except for a few idle moments since before Rhinebeck, but it is there.
And guess what? I finished a cardigan like a month ago, and I still have not blocked and assembled it. I am slacker, hear me slack.
I’ve got two projects percolating in me though – a Christmas present which I feel I can talk about here because I am 99% certain that the recipient does not read my blog, and a stole. Specifically a Hanami, to be done in some black and red silk I got in the recent Yarn Crawl. I don’t usually go for really popular patterns, but I really love the way the Hanami looks.
Yikes, my boss just saw me blogging. Gotta go.

Hanami is in my queue, but I have no idea when I’ll get around to it. However, if you need knitting, I’ve got plenty of WIPs you could help out with….

Love this site – found you through Yarn Harlot. I would LOVE to knit Jack Shit, too, so count me in!
From one slacker to another – I have 2, count ‘em – 2, projects that need to be blocked and assembled. A charming felted (well, not felted yet, see how much I slack?) purse and a sampler stitch cardi. We should declare a day in the future as “Finish WIP” day and just get it over with
