Continuing in the cooking theme

Ugh. I don’t know what happened, but about 45 minutes after I got in to work this morning, I felt all the energy drop out of my body. I decided to come home and rest and get one of my Thanksgiving dishes out of the way.

Thanksgiving approacheth. Everyone in the family who’s getting together on Thursday has been tasked with bringing two dishes. Mine are going to be mashed potatoes and asparagus truffle vinaigrette.

I’ve never used truffle oil before, but oh my god - this stuff smells fantastic. The carrot was used to test the flavor and I ended up eating half of it in an impromptu salad. NOM NOM NOM.
