I made another batch of Beef Bourguigon today - it will be lunch for most of the week. It really wants to be served with wider noodles than what I had on hand, but I didn’t feel like running to the store.
This time I remembered the carrots, but once again forgot to pick up bay leaves.

Forgive me, I’ve tried to find a way to email you but can’t seem to find it. Erm…probably just missing it.
I’d like to use your cable charting software (VisiKnit) to generate charts for a self-published knitting pattern. May I do this? If so, please tell me how you’d like to be credited and/or what the charge is.
Thank you so much.

I guess if it’s supper for one the bay leaf really isn’t necessary . . .

I love you Ruth, even if you totally stole my comment.

The bay leaf makes it obligatory - you don’t want to pressure yourself like that.

You forgot the cognac too…we use it to deglaze the pan after browning the beef.
PS I live in Burgundy and this recipe is a real staple here!

I am trying to send you an emai, but I can’t find your email address- so here’s where I landed! I have used your VisiKnit a few times and love it. I want to contribute, but funds are low, so I will offer what I have in abundance- original patterns. Please email me at my address above and I will give you details!
Thank you
