If I knit any slower I’d be frogging
Good grief. And I thought I was going to have this done by Christmas. I honestly believed it was possible.
It is, at long last, clearly identifiable as a vest. It could still become a v-neck sweater in theory, and I’ve actually got enough yarn left to do that, but no, this puppy is on its way to becoming a sharp little vest. I am praying that it’s roughly the right size for my stepdad. I measured him, I got gauge and all that jazz, but as I get closer and closer to the Perfectum Est moment I keep having panic attacks that it’s going to be wildly ill-fitting.
Must up the meds. And start picking up those neckline stitches.

Ahhh no worries. You were just in a traditional holiday knitting delusional state. Happens to the best of us!

That is one of the best titles for a post!
The vest is looking great – hope there aren’t any issues with the fit. Likely you are just doubting yourself after missing the deadline.
I think missed deadlines are usually indicators of a great knit!

Looks good. And very manly.

Might I recommend a shot of good whiskey to screw your courage to the sticking point rather than more meds. I’m sure it will fit just fine. It looks great so far.

No freaking out until after you block it.

Pick up the stitches, then up the meds. The vest looks good. Very impressive!

It looks really nice! I certainly hope the vest fits as nice as it looks here!

What’s “frogging?”. Or did you say “flogging?”
