Happy Birthday Michelle!
So, my buddy Michelle’s birthday was this past weekend, and a bunch of us wanted to surprise her. Unfortunately her schedule wasn’t very accommodating and we didn’t get the surprise visit opportunity until last night.
Mary, Enid and I got her a nice bag of loot and then showed up very unexpectedly on her porch. She squealed. We then proceeded to eat cupcakes (thanks Enid), multi-chocolate brownies (thanks Mary) and watch Xanadu (I’m not thanking anyone for that). And I got shed on by many different critters.
Towards the end of the evening, Michelle’s daughter said one of the cutest things I’ve heard in my life. The kid is adorable. She was complaining about one of her toy balls not staying put, and Michelle said “Yes, it moves because it’s round.”
Her daughter held up the ball for all to see and proclaimed, “No, it’s pink!”

Thank you again! That was the coolest birthday ever! I’m still so stoked that I’ll let the Xanadu crack slide–haha!

Ahhh…Xanadu. Movie = intolerable. New musical’s soundtrack = heaven. A very, very funny (in a good way…like they meant it to be funny) heaven.
