Mid-vacation knitting evidence

My dear Lilith got here last Thursday and we’ve been actively doing as little as possible. I’ve done some cooking and we’ve both done some knitting (including showing up at Yarnivore’s KIP day event! Thanks, Melanie!) and we spent a couple of days out at the river at my mom’s place.

Evidence of cooking (avert your eyes, Cari):
Pulled Pork

In the midst of this aggressive relaxation, it occurred to me that I never posted any pictures of my completed one-row scarf, designed by the very-recently-more-refined Yarn Harlot. (Thanks for the pattern, Stephanie! Happy Birthday!)

Need a mindless knitting project? Know somebody with a neck? I highly recommend the pattern.

Nice meat! There was pulled pork at my house this weekend too.

Actually…there’s still pulled pork at my house.

Seems that this is a fabulous week for vacation. :) Hope you and Lilith continue to enjoy as much nothing as you can stand!

I like your scarf! What kind of yarn did you use? (looked for it on your Rav page, slacker LOL).
