Things to do in the country

I’m house-sitting for my mother and stepfather this weekend. I brought my knitting bag with me with the intention of starting some projects, but the weather was so nice outside that I decided to take pictures instead.

Butterflies like flowers.

Birds like birdseed – but not so much the bird feeders that muss up their hairdo.

Not a bad way to spend an afternoon, really.

Great job getting the action shot! I remember wishing I had a video camera handy the day my cat got into it with a large lizard.

Looks great! Flutterby’s and kitty and birds with wacky ‘do’s – sounds nice and relaxing!

At first glance I thought the butterfly was perching on some of your knitting. Whatever that purple flower is looks like the first 2 rows of circular knitting after you’ve joined but haven’t knit enough for the fabric to have any substance.

What a beautiful cat! I love that you caught him in mid-pounce. That looks like a lovely day.

Love that cat. Having an herbivore around the house is not nearly as exciting as having a carnivore.

Awesome shots. Colors are really vibrant, and that cat is too funny. Love it.
