Perfectum Est!
I cannot believe how long this project took. Knitting, sadly is not something I do on a daily basis these days. I say “these days” instead of “any more” because I know these things run in cycles. The muse may descend again; who knows.
But for now I am content with the squeeplosion from my sister-in-law when I gave her the socks.
SIL: “I love them! Mom! Look! Socks!”
MIL: “You are going to love wearing them! Marnie made me a pair that were red and I wear them all the time.”
SIL: “But these are pink. That means they’re better.”
You cannot argue with that logic.

You are right. There is no arguing with that logic. It’s nice when a handknitted gift is appreciated though, isn’t it?

Oh, I like your SIL! Anyone who realizes that pink is always better is obviously a great person!
Not to mention, one who appreciates hand knit socks…

“Squeeplosion”. Excellent word-crafting!

doesn’t it all make it worthwhile?
