New Knife Block

I’ve been looking for a new knife block for some time now. I’ve got a decent Henkels knife set that I got years ago, but I’ve also picked up a couple of additional knives that don’t fit in the block that came with the original set.

Today at Bed Bath & Beyond, I found this awesome block:

New Kapoosh knife block

It’s full of food-grade plastic rods that squish apart to hold the knives when you slide them in. It’s mostly empty in that shot because I just took my main knife set to get sharpened, but when I pick them up, they’ll have a new cozy home.

Ya know, I’ve been eyeing that block for a while now, as I have a bunch of “mismatched” knives . . . and I have one of those giant BB&B coupons . . . hmmmm.

That’s really cool! Unfortunately, I don’t have room on my counter for one more thing!

Sorry :-( I hope they made some changes and you’ll be able to stick all your knives into it and won’t get weird plastic flakes all over your food…

GREAT idea – I need one of those for all my mismatched knives!
One of the reviewers on that site Nicole mentioned even uses a second one for knitting needles!!!!
